A video of Luxton’s first brain freeze! Both kids trying to figure out what all the white stuff is.

This is Luxton and Henley’s first fall!  They love the leaves on the ground and are always more interested in trying to pick them up and eating them then playing with the toys we brought out. They got to see pumpkins for the first time in October and are super excited to carve them and go trick-or-treating!

The boys seem to be teaming up against Mom and Dad and are always at each other’s side when trouble finds them!  Luxton figured out how to get on the coffee table with Henley beside him cheering him on. They attempted stairs on the same day. Henley first made it onto the second step with Luxton hot on his heels and making onto the fourth step! The gates have come out! They always need a bottle at the exact same time but take turns not sleeping at night! Their favorite place to be is in the laundry room (especially when their blankies are having a bath) and will crawl at top speed to get there as soon as the door opens!

Henley and Luxton have officially become trouble! They are crawling faster than Mom and Dad can keep up, they are furniture walking, they are into EVERYTHING and their favorite hobby is chewing on our furniture! Their favorite game is playing “pat the table” and and spend a lot of their day at the coffee table hitting it!

September was a very busy month for the boys! They had their first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa N.’s house because Mom and Dad were at cousin Chelsey’s wedding. Avery and Cruz came to visit  for a week and took us to the Children’s Museum and The Children’s Gardens at Assiniboine Park! They had their first taste of ice cream (at Sargent Sunday), popcorn twists (thanks to Grandma N.), dirt, dryer lint, leaves, and that is just what we know about!! Henley learned how a dishwasher works from the inside while Dad was in charge and we have begun to notice little hand prints on everything that the boys can touch  !

July’s heat brought lots of trips to find relief in the water! We visited grandma and grandpa, we played at the splash park and we had our first overnight without dad at Katie & Dean’s cottage at Hillside Beach. The boys began crawling so fast that mom & dad couldn’t keep up with them. Luxton learned that plants could be a great place to snack between meals and got a mouthful of sand at the beach! The boys discovered the fun that could be had with mirrors and there were a lot of naps with teddy!
